Scope of Work

The scope of this project is to extend an existing 1000 MW Power Plant by an additional 100 MW. This is being accomplished by adding two 50 MW General Electric Frame 7 EA Gas-Turbines to each end of the existing plant totaling 2 x 50 MW or a 100 MW extension. The installation includes construction of a new building, new

fuel skids, hot works on existing fuel lines, data collection system, complete controls interlocking, 132 KV step-up transformers, connection to existing 132 KV switchgear, and synchronization with existing supplies. The Frame 7EA gas turbines that are being installed are simple-cycle turbines that run on crude oil. As an option these units can be converted to combined-cycle and increase their efficiency by approximately 50% without interrupting present operation. Civil / Buildings and Air Compressor Building
